Bluff • The 14th annual Bluff International Balloon Festival gets under way Friday, Jan. 13, and runs through Sunday, Jan. 15.
The event offers visitors a chance to see hot air balloons from around the country fly over scenic southeastern Utah near Monument Valley.

Balloons will launch over Bluff Friday and Saturday at 7 a.m. and over the Valley of the Gods at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. There is also a "glow-in" at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Other events in association with the festival include at benefit Navajo taco supper at Bluff Elementary school on Friday starting at 5 p.m., a 5K run at 7 a.m. Saturday, an arts festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and a Southwest cook-off Saturday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
