Ballet West is getting "nutty" over sports this weekend.

The Salt Lake City ballet troupe continues its annual tradition of finishing its run of "The Nutcracker" with a parody version, "The Nutty Nutcracker," tonight and Saturday at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City.

The show promises lots of surprises for "Nutcracker" regulars — and this year, according to Ballet West's website, many of the jokes this year have a sports theme.

"The Nutty Nutcracker" plays tonight at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.

Tickets, from $18 to $74, are available at ArtTix locations.
