Foster the People’s song "Pumped Up Kicks" was the song of the summer and deservedly so. After selling out Kilby Court in March and Urban Lounge in June, Mark Foster and his bandmates in the indie-pop group will return to Utah in one of the most-buzzed-about shows of the summer. On their last tour, the Kilby Court show was one of the band’s most fun shows, the musician said. "I didn’t even know you could play a show there -- it looked like a garage," Foster said. Since then, the band has released its first full-length album, "Torches," which features the bouncy, irresistible "Pumped Up Kicks." But beyond the catchy beats is a high-school revenge story that makes Pearl Jam’s "Jeremy" sound like a bedtime story. "I meant it to be thought-provoking," Foster said. "[In high school] I had great parents who loved and supported me. A lot of people don’t have that."
