Utahn Rick Nelson is still alive on the second-to-last episode of Survivor: South Pacific (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), and who knows what his chances are? If he can make it to the final vote, you'd think there's a pretty good chance he could get votes from the jury members.Because they pretty much hate all of the other remaining contestants except for Ozzy.

And what was with that clip that CBS showed that made it appear Edna was about to beat Ozzy in the Redemption Island challenge? Was it for real, or was it just a tease?

Anyway, somebody is going to win the million dollars in Sunday's two-hour season finale.

And the good news about The X Factor (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13) is that it can't possibly get any worse than it was last week when judge Nicole Scherzinger acted like an idiot and 13-year-old Rachel Crow went on a horrific crying jag when she was eliminated.

Scherzinger is an adult and deserves all the criticism she's received. If you're going to be a judge, make a decision. She copped out, leaving it up to the viewers vote, which went against Crow.

Crow, however, is a child. And her breakdown was just awful to watch.

This is not to suggest that she either should or should not have won. But neither Crow nor any other 13-year-old should have been there.

Simon Cowell and his team made much of allowing singers both older and younger than the rigid "American Idol" parameters. Older is fine, but - once again - children should not be on reality television.

"The X Factor" needs to raise its age limits.
