This year's WTF artist making a holiday album is Scott Weiland, former singer of Velvet Revolver and I believe, currently still head of Stone Temple Pilots.

He debuts his video for "Winter Wonderland" today on Yahoo: http://www.music.yahoo.com/videos/premieres

The video is creepy, as Weland looks just like Bing Crosby. "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" is available now at all physical and digital retail outlets. The album is filled with lush orchestrations punctuated by horns and sweetened with strings, which were arranged by Michael Birnbryer and Jessica Catron respectively. There is little-to-no rock influence. But there is a reggae version of "O Holy Night" complete with steel drums, "Silent Night" with a bossa nova beat and a jazzy "What Child Is This?" where Weiland channels his inner Van Morrison.
