Veterans Day is over, but the commitment of the troops and their families goes on and on.

The University of Utah's Marriott Library will continue honoring Utah's veterans through the end of the year in the fourth floor atrium of the library. On display are personal portraits of veterans and active-service members.

The photos include those who served in the World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and the nation's other military engagements. Fort Douglas has provided the wheel and bell from the battleship USS Utah, which was sunk during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The artifacts join photographs from Fort Douglas, Hill Air Force Base and the USS Salt Lake City.

You can visit the exhibit during library hours, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. For more information: http://www.bookartsprogram.org.
