In a local take on "History Detectives," the Brigham City Museum-Gallery is offering the historian's version of the face on a milk carton.

The museum has mounted an exhibition, "Wanted," of the 18th and 19th century photographs donated to its collection and is asking Box Elder County residents and possible relatives if they can identify the people captured for posterity in the photos to keep them from being lost to history.

"Although the museum is not offering a bounty or reward for information leading to the identification of the photos, the museum staff is hopeful patrons will recognize the subjects and share this information," says the museum's "wanted poster."

From the looks of some of the subjects of the photos, we also would recommend genetic counseling for any descendants.
