Selena Gomez & The Scene

When Selena Gomez isn't smooching her beau Justin Bieber, the Disney teen queen and her band The Scene will be headlining their summer concert tour. The group has released three albums, spawning several hits, including "Naturally, "Who Says" and "Love You Like a Love Song." Opening the show is Allstar Weekend, a band that grew out of the same rock scene that produced Blink-182. Allstar Weekend will release its second record, "All the Way," on Sept. 27.

Get "Looped"

The "Looped" video exhibitions in the foyer at the Salt Lake Art Center continue with "Enduring," a pair of contemporary video performances by Jamie McMurry and Nikolaj Larsen. Larsen's "My Cat" is hilarious, a rare trait in contemporary art, as he tries to coerce a black-and-white feline into joining him in a portrait photo. As always, admission to the center is free.
