Cookie locator • It's that time of year again when turquoise-vested girls will try and hit you up for a dozen boxes of Thin Mints and Tagalongs.

But for those Girl Scout cookie fans who can't seem to find a dealer in their office or church, there's an app for that.

The Girl Scouts have introduced a new iPhone/iPod/iPad and Android app that will locate the nearest cookie booth in your area. Just punch in your zip code or use the mobile device's built in GPS receiver and a map will show you the nearest booth selling cookies. The app also gives users alerts on upcoming cookie sales, a cookie personality test and all the nutritional facts about each cookie (like we really care!).

Girl Scout cookies will be on sale at local booths March 11-27. The free app is available through the iTunes App Store and Android Market.
