Video •A new computer animation house debuts with this sterling first effort about a loveable, luggish evildoer (voiced by "The Office's" Steve Carrell) who adopts three mischievous kids on his way to dominating the world. Originally released in 3-D (which is too bad since this movie wears the 3-D moniker well), "Despicable Me" is presented on home video in 2-D. But you'll laugh at the hilarious visual jokes (those little yellow minions are a hoot) whether the images jump from your TV screen or not. The Blu-ray and DVD include three new shorts starring those prankish minions as well as a making-of featurette and a look at the actors who voiced the characters.
