"They’ve all greeted me with excitement. I think they’re looking at me as someone with a lot of experience who might be able to help them improve."

Lamb is a believer.

"There were many factors," he said. "But one reason coach Crowton is here, I think, is the idea he can take a pretty good team — one that’s on the cusp — and help get us over the hump."
