BYU has advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament for the second consecutive season,

The No. 21-ranked Cougars (24-6) swept No. 16 Hawaii 3-0 on its home court at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu late Saturday night in a second-round match.

The scores were 25-21, 25-17 and 25-13

The Cougars will meet No. 6 USC in a third-round match Friday in Los Angeles after the Trojans swept Cal State Northridge on Saturday night.

Alexa Gray led BYU with 13 kills, and Tambre Haddock added 11 kills. Ciara Parker, who had a career-high 30 digs in Friday's 3-2 win over Arizona, added 15 digs. —
