Former Brigham Young University guard Jimmer Fredette just can't seem to stop getting awards.
Fredette won the ESPY for best male college athlete on Wednesday night at ESPN's award show in Los Angeles.
Fredette, the consensus national college basketball player of the year, earned the award over Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, the Heisman Trophy winner, and UConn point guard Kemba Walker, among others.
Fredette, accompanied to the Nokia Theatre by his girlfriend, Whitney Wonnacott, thanked his family, people in his hometown of Glens Falls, N.Y., and his teammates, coaches and fans at BYU for their support in his acceptance speech.
Fredette said "this is crazy" after accepting the award from Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and said he was "having a great time."
