It wasn't 49 points, but it was another sensational performance for BYU's Jimmer Fredette against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday afternoon.

Fredette scored 33 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Cougars crushed the Pac-10's Arizona for the second straight time, taking an 87-65 win at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City to sweep the Wildcats in a two-game series.

After scoring a school-record 49 last year in a 99-69 win over Arizona in Tucson, Fredette had 20 points at halftime on Saturday.

He was taken out of the game by coach Dave Rose with 5 minutes, 23 seconds remaining after missing back-to-back 3-point attempts, and did not return.

Lamont Jones led Arizona with 20 points, scoring all his points in the second half.

The Wildcats' leading scorer, Derrick Williams, was held to 13.

BYU's Noah Hartsock suffered a probable concussion after taking an elbow to the face in the first half, and did not return.
