Heather Armstrong, the Salt Lake City-based author and proprietrix of the popular "don't call it a mommy blog" Dooce.com, is showing off her fashion sense in the December issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

Armstrong, 35, is featured in BH&G's "Style" page (which, sadly, is not viewable online), modeling a cool Talbots crepe jacket and matching ankle pants on one page, and a fun white sequin party dress on the next page.

In the accompanying text, Armstrong describes her personal style:

"When you have short hair, dangly earrings and statement necklaces can look really loud. Instead, my signature accessory is a giant cocktail ring - I have about 60! I don't wear a traditional wedding ring, but I do wear a cocktail ring on my left hand to signify that I'm married [8 years] to my husband, Jon."

Armstrong touts the photo spread on her website, of course. The photos were taken in August, which Armstrong wrote about at the time - mostly to dish about a strange, wonderful encounter with Gwyneth Paltrow while waiting to be photographed.
