Wrapping up how Utah's players on active NFL rosters performed in Week Four:
Minnesota running back Matt Asiata • The Vikings third game without beleaguered running back Adrian Peterson went far better than the first two, and Asiata rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries, and he also caught three passes for 22 yards in the Vikings' 41-28 win over the Falcons. His touchdown total doubled his career total, with three earlier scores also all coming in the same game. Lone drawback for Asiata: It was a breakout game for rookie Jerick McKinnon, who rushed for 135 yards and may have earned more playing time.
Jacksonville offensive lineman Zane Beadles • Beadles and the Jaguars again lost, 33-14 to the Chargers, but rookie quarterback Blake Bortles was starting just his second game and the scorers are at least trending in the right direction for Jacksonville. Beadles told the San Diego Union-Tribune that he's optimistic about the future with Bortles.
Oakland guard Tony Bergstrom • Bergstrom was again ruled inactive for the Raiders' 38-14 loss to the Dolphins. Earlier this week, Bergstrom spoke to The Wall Street Journal about battery life in tablet-based playbooks.
Cleveland outside linebacker Paul Kruger • The Browns had a bye this week. Kruger talked to WKYC earlier this week about how close isn't good enough for Cleveland.
Carolina defensive tackle Star Lotulelei • After earlier in the week telling The Associated Press that the Panthers' performance against the Steelers was an anomaly, Lotulelei had little more luck in a 38-10 loss to the Ravens, recording two tackles.
Pittsburgh cornerback Brice McCain • McCain recorded two tackles and deflected a pass in the Steelers' 27-24 loss the Buccaneers.
Oakland cornerback Keith McGill • McGill did not record any stats.
Miami linebacker Koa Misi • Misi missed his third consecutive game with an ankle injury sustained in Week One. Multiple reports indicate Misi may return after a Week Five bye for the Dolphins' matchup with the Packers.
San Diego defensive tackle Tenny Palepoi • Palepoi did not record any stats in the Chargers' win.
New York Jets outside linebacker Trevor Reilly • Reilly recorded two tackles in the Jets' 24-17 loss to the Lions. He was profiled this week in his hometown Valley Roadrunner.
Miami defensive end Derrick Shelby • A week after recovering a fumble, Shelby recorded career sacks Nos. 1 and 2 against the Raiders. Shelby and the Dolphins line earned an "A" from Palm Beach Post writer Andrew Abramson.
New England defensive tackle Sealver Siliga • Siliga was placed on the short-term injured reserve Saturday and will not be eligible for six weeks.
Kansas City cornerback Sean Smith • Smith snatched his eighth career interception, deflected three passes and made three tackles in the Chiefs' 41-14 win over the Patriots on Monday night. Click here for video.
Kansas City quarterback Alex Smith • Smith vs. Tom Brady wasn't much of a fight, as the ex-Ute went 20-for-26 for 248 yards and three touchdowns. Smith was profiled by ESPN on Sunday.
Baltimore wideout Steve Smith Sr. • Some folks were looking forward to this one, we're told. Smith didn't disappoint, torching his former team for 139 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't deliver the postgame blowup some expected, but he was good for at least one classic line: "I'm 35 years old, and I ran around those boys like they were schoolyard kids." Smith repped the alma mater in pregame warmups.
Atlanta defensive tackle Paul Soliai • Soliai had three tackles in the Falcons' loss, blaming himself afterward, according to The Associated Press.
San Diego safety Eric Weddle • Weddle scored his first interception of the season, returning it 17 yards after snagging a Blake Bortles pass. And if you missed it, and you have five minutes, check out his Mic'd Up feature from last week's win in Buffalo.
