A major mistake led to Arkansas State's first score as punter Jaron Bentrude dropped the ball and Arkansas State recovered on the Aggies' 12-yard line. J.D. McKissic took the pitch and swept down the left side of the field for the score, tying the game at 7-7. The storyline for the Aggies continues to be the missed chances in the first half.
