Not to be outdone by their gridiron counterparts, Utah men's basketball will be sporting new uniforms this upcoming season.

The Utes revealed three new-look get-ups from Under Armour, all incorporating the mountain design used in the football uniforms. The new combos feature white, red and black variations.

All three have the mountain design on the sides of the shorts, red mountains running into white sky in a triangular stripe. The red and black jerseys feature white patches under the arms, while the white variation has simple red cuffs around the shoulders. The Utah logo and font hasn't changed, but the jerseys retain the "U" on the waist of the shorts.

The shoes for each outfit have two-color patterns that fade into each other, with the base color of the jersey matching the base color of each shoe.

The mountain design has been met with some mixed reviews among fans, who don't like the design itself or feel it doesn't speak specifically to the Utes. But on the shorts, some seem to think the mountains are less obtrusive to the overall look.

Yes, it's official. The 2014-15 uniforms are here! How many days until we tip off? #GameDayU #goutes pic.twitter.com/MnuXX0IPui

Here's a sampling of the social media reaction that I got from fans:

To me, the new hoops unis for the #Utes look pretty sharp. Mountains on the shorts, don't dominate the jersey. What are your thoughts?

@kylegoon I think they look great. Mountains are ehh but they don't ruin it like on football unis.

— Ute Pilot (@ute_pilot) September 10, 2014

@kylegoon I like them. Of course I like the football unis too so what do I know

@kylegoon Best @Runnin_Utes jerseys in a long time! Love them

— Andrew Lawrence (@andrewute1) September 10, 2014

@kylegoon Personally, I really dig it! Just keep the logo and do more with the Ute Tribe to make it beneficial for all parties. #GoUtes

@kylegoon better integration of the mountains. Would love it if football followed the same pattern.

@MUSSEmeritus @kylegoon Mountains on shorts = Old BYU logo with cougar atop mountains. I'm not a fan.

@kylegoon Mtns are terrible. Crazy that someone actually approved the things.. that said, they aren't as bad as the football unis.

— Ned Kelly (@Ned_Kelly_) September 10, 2014

@kylegoon on a closer look, it's the same pattern, but football fades to black at the top and bball is white; bball just works better.

— AUtahMan (@UU_Man0304) September 10, 2014There's been a lot of uniform reveals this season between basketball and football. White helmets were the big deal on the football front this week.
