Utah's nonconference schedule has not yet been announced, but a tweet from the official men's basketball account of the Oklahoma Sooners late Monday night seems to confirm another reported opponent: UNLV.

The #Sooners will play Washington Dec. 20 in MGM Showcase (benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer) in Las Vegas. UNLV vs. Utah second game.

ESPN's Andy Katz first reported the matchup a couple weeks ago, but Oklahoma's tweet is the first official announcement of the Dec. 20 lineup for the MGM Showcase, which supports Coaches vs. Cancer.

The Utes already have games scheduled with Wichita State (Dec. 3 at the Huntsman Center) and Kansas (Dec. 13 in Kansas City, Mo.), and will play BYU in Provo.

UNLV (20-13 overall, 10-8 Mountain West) was ousted from this year's MWC tournament by No. 8 San Diego State. In two years prior, former BYU assistant Dave Rice led the Rebels to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

UNLV loses its four leading scorers, but they'll have two of the nation's top 15 overall recruits, as rated by Rivals.com, in small forward Dwayne Morgan and shooting guard Rashad Vaughn.
