Reilly, 26, may have fallen in the draft because of his age and injury history, but he told reporters in a conference call Saturday that he was "happy to be a Jet."

It was a long offseason for the multi-position Utah standout, who fell from the first round on some draft boards in October despite not sustaining any major injuries since then.

The Jets declined to release details of the contract. ESPN reports that it was a four-year deal for about $2.3 million.
