RB tried to forge transcript to Utah
One of the more disappointing areas for Utah's offense this year has been the lack of production at running back. Before the season began, Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said he felt both Bubba Poole and Kelvin York could be 1,000-yard rushers, but they are far off that mark with Poole rushing 146 times for 606 yards this season and York rushing 87 times for 331 yards.
One has to wonder what the running back position would have been like if Devontae Booker, a JC transfer from American River College, had made it into school.
The Utes were excited about Booker's potential, but unfortunately he never arrived with Whittingham announcing in August Booker wouldn't join the Utes due to academic issues.<
The Utes might have missed out on a running back who might have helped them on the field, but could have created an academic mess for the program if he had been successful in faking the transcript.
