With a few days remaining until the season-opener against Utah State, Kyle Whittingham and Utah are anxious.
Whittingham has said the Utes were affected by losing to the Aggies last season. In the video attached, he spoke of emulating Chucke Keeton in practice with dual-threat quarterbacks Chuckie Keeton and Micah Thomas. Whittingham also talked about the off-season finally being over and getting out onto the field and performing well.
The Utes and the Aggies matchup on Thursday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium. It’s the first of three home games in four weeks for a Utah team needing a good start to the season. Whittingham was effusive in his praise for Utah State. He knows taking on the Aggies won’t be easy for his team.
