Utah not focused on Colorado revenge factor

At this time of year, each team with an NCAA Tournament type of resume kicks into gear. All games are important. Each possession takes on a little extra meaning.

Losses to teams in the past are just that - a thing of the past. So that's why Utah doesn't factor in revenge as a motivator for Colorado on Thursday night.

Seriously, if the Buffaloes can't get up for the Utes with plenty on the line in every game, then who can they get up for?

"They need to win games and we're aware of that," Larry Krystkowiak said. "We have to prepare for a lot, and we have to go in there and be pretty dialed in, or it's going to be a tough time for us."

Instead of preparing for revenge, the Utes are preparing for Spencer Dinwiddie and Askia Booker, who comprise one of the best backcourts in the Pac-12.

Instead of the revenge factor, Utah knows it will face a rowdy homecourt, the likes of which can change games consistently.

Utah will try to squeeze the Colorado guards and rebound against Andre Roberson. The Utes will be attempting to take care of the ball better than they have in the past.

"We've had a good week of practices," Krystkowiak said. "We like what we've done and we like where the guys are at. We're excited to go into Colorado and compete."
