Utah Basketball - Martin set to play tonight
Published on Jan 2, 2013 11:18AM
Utah starting small forward Cedric Martin will make his return tonight against Arizona State, after missing the previous two matchups with groin issues.
Martin, a senior, has proven to be an important piece to the Utes. He's the best defender on the team, and he's been essential to ball movement offensivel.
"He adds a lot to what we do," Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak said. "He's important to us, and he's been a very good player this season."
Krystkowiak didn't say whether or not Martin would return immediately to the starting lineup. Aaron Dotson, a junior forward, has been starting in his place, to very mixed results. Martin's return will add to Utah's depth, which has been a bit challenged in his absence.
