Baely Rowe, a two-time Junior Olympic national uneven bar champion and 2012 J.O. all-around runner-up, has signed with the Utes.
The Federal Way, Wash., native is the only 2013-14 signee for the Utes since they have no seniors on their current roster.
Rowe has four top-10 all-around finishes at the J.O. Nationals, placing third in 2009, ninth in 2010, seventh in 2011 and second in 2012. She won the J.O. uneven bar title in 2010 and 2012.
"Baely is a good, solid, all-around gymnast who was heavily recruited by some of the top teams in the country," Utah coach Greg Marsden said. "She is capable of contributing on all four events and will bring an entertainment quality to her floor routine that will ignite our fan base."
