Utah offensive coordinator Brian Johnson is going to earn his salary this weekend since it's doubtful he'll have a healthy John White to utilize against Arizona State. Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said White took limited reps in Wednesday's practice. Given that report, the Utes are going to need to get creative with the offense and need some more playmakers to step up against the Sun Devils who lead the league in passing defense (147.33) and are second in scoring (14.67). "They have a very good defense," Whittingham said. "They have good athletes in the back and they get after you in the front. They should be 3-0." So who are some of the guys who need to deliver? Here are a few possibilities: Reggie Dunn - He was effective on the edges against BYU so look for the Utes to utilize him again. DeVonte Christopher - He's Utah's top receiver but also has experience in the wildcat formation.Kenneth Scott - The Utes need to find a way to get this 6-3 receiver the ball more. As for Wednesday's practice, Whittingham said it was a good day. Neither he nor quarterback Jon Hays seem worried the Utes' emotional win over BYU could cause a letdown this Saturday. "We got over that on Monday when we watched the tape," Hays said. "Tuesday we got a fresh start. We can't get too excited about wins, especially a schedule like this because you could get beat." - Lya Wodraska
