Utah lineman Cullen, others head to NFL as free agents

The Utah Utes had hoped a few players would hear their names called in the 2012 NFL draft. As it turned out, Tony Bergstrom, who went to Oakland in the third round, was the only player selected.
Others still have a shot at playing in the NFL though as several have signed with free agents.
Offensive lineman John Cullen has signed with the New York Jets, fullback Shawn Asiata and defensive lineman Derrick Shelby signed with Miami, defensive lineman Tevita Finau signed with Arizona and defensive back Conroy Black signed with Oakland.
