Reggie Porter, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound corner out of Amite H.S. in Amite City, Louisiana has committed to the Utes, bringing Utah's list of total commitments to 22.
Porter was a two-way starter as a senior but earned 3-A All-State honors at defensive back after finishing with 46 tackles and six interceptions. He was also the District 9-3A MVP as a quarterback.
The Utes are still in the running for two other corners who remain undecided. Alphonso Marsh, out of Compton, Calif., is considering the Utes along with other Pac-12 schools including Washington and UCLA. His teammate at Dominquez H.S., Brandon Beaver, also is considering Utah along with Nebraska, Oklahoma and several Pac-12 schools.
