Utah coach Kyle Whittingham and recruiting coordinator Morgan Scalley continued to land commitments Monday, with receiver Brian Allen out of La Marque, Texas committing to Utah during a home visit with the coaches.
The 6-foot-3 receiver had plans to trip to Nevada but was going to cancel them. Utah won his commitment based on the football and engineering program.
"I liked the atmosphere there and the engineering, you can't any better than that," he said. "Coach Whittingham and Scalley sealed the deal today."
The receiver said he loves playing aggressively.
"If the ball is in the air, it's mine," he said.
