The Utah Utes reportedly have landed a commitment from Davis H.S. lineman Zach Lindsay. The 6-foot-7, 270-pound lineman originally committed to BYU but continued to show interest in the Utes and paid the team a visit during preseason camp. Academics were an issue as well with Lindsay's decision to de-commit from BYU. He would be the fourth offensive lineman to commit to the Utes for 2012, joining Lio Lafaele (6-4, 315, Corona H.S., Calif.), Nua Poteki (6-5, 310, Brighton H.S.) and Kiha Sai (6-5, 300, Kamehameha School, Honolulu, Hawaii). The Utes have said recruiting linemen is a priority for them. Already thin at the position this year, the Utes must find replacements for senior tackles Tony Bergstrom and John Cullen. - Lya Wodraska
