Normally which analyst is interviewing football players isn't very newsworthy. However, Utah's post-football practice interview session on Thursday should be rather entertaining. Former Utah football coach Urban Meyer, who joined ESPN's crew as an analyst in January, will be in town to interview Utah coach Kyle Whittingham for a Spring Football 101 series on coaches. The series will air on College Football Live the week of April 4. Meyer resigned as Florida's head coach on Dec. 8 after leading the Gators to two national titles because he said he wanted to spend more time with his family. While Thursday's visit is work-related, my guess is he's probably considering the visit family-related too, since he and Whittingham remain close and Meyer has often said he was fond of the Salt Lake City area. The Utes practice from 3-to-5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Both practices are scheduled for Rice-Eccles Stadium and fans are allowed to attend.
