Spoke to Brian Suite after practice Tuesday and the senior said he has gotten his share of messages criticizing him for hurting BYU quarterback Taysom Hill. Suite can kind of understand where some of the criticism is coming from since in a weird bit of circumstance, he was also the player who was involved when Hill hurt his knee in the rivalry game in 2012. Hill was sidelined for the remainder of the season, just as he is now. However Suite insists he didn't mean to hurt Hill either time. "Anyone who has played football knows it is a violent sport," he said. "Injuries are part of the game, especially when you are going full speed, but I'd never intentionally hurt a player." The injury occurred in the second quarter when Hill's leg became tangled underneath Suite as Suite tackled him. "I didn't even know he'd left the game until I noticed someone else was under center," Suite said. "It was weird." Suite said he sent Hill a message wishing him well and a full recovery. "Honestly, he is a tremendous competitor," Suite said. "You saw what he did to us at the beginning of the game. He is one of the best quarterbacks I have faced. I have a lot of respect for him."
