The football team might be enjoying a bye week, but other USU teams are plenty busy this weekend and so far, the results have been good for the Aggies. On Saturday, the volleyball team beat Wyoming 3-2 with Kaitlyn VanHoff becoming the program's career blocks record holder. She had eight, giving her 478 for her career, which is one more than the previous mark held by Denae Mohlman (1997-2000). She also had 12 kills in the win, which was USU's fourth five-set match of the year. The Aggies are 2-2 in such matches, and are 5-7 overall and 1-1 in league play. The Aggies next match is at New Mexico on Thursday. The soccer team, which opened with a 1-1 draw with Colorado College Friday, is back in action today at Air Force. The match begins at noon and can be followed via the school's website and social media. The Aggies are 3-0-1 against Air Force, which is coming off a 2-0 win over Boise State on Friday. In tennis, the women went 7-3 in the Air Force Invitational with McKenzie Davis earning two victories to make her the all-time leader in total wins for the program at 125. In cross country, the men were 18th and the women tied for 20th in the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota. Eric Shellhorn was the top finisher for the school, placing 17th with a time of 25:24. Tori Parkinson led the women with a 78th placing in a time of 22:51.
