Greetings from Arkansas State, where USU coach Matt Wells will be facing a long-time coaching friend in Arkansas State's Blake Anderson. The two met working football camps earlier in their careers. "I have a great deal of respect for that program," Wells said.Wells joked he was the better golfer, but when it comes to gamesmanship, Anderson may have the upper hand after last week's 'fainting goat' play against Miami. Anderson said in followup interviews the Red Wolves have a few more trick plays up their sleeves, so don't be surprised if you see something today. Wells said earlier this week the weather could be a factor. Now, just a little more than an hour until kickoff, it's 90 degrees with 40 percent humidity. In other words, it's perfect weather - if you live in Arkansas and are used to this stuff. Nevertheless, Wells likes facing adversity such as weather, opposing crowds, etc. "I love going on the road," he said. "It brings you closer. I think we've played well on the road here. I think our kids have a really good mindset on the road. I like it. I like wearing the road uniforms and rallying around together in the hotel and locker room. I think our kids feed off that pretty good." A couple of roster notes before we get started, quarterback Chuckie Keeton made the trip even though he won't play. Freshman Tyson Mosley is expected to get his first start at left guard in place of Bill Vavau.
