Quarterback Chuckie Keeton knows the Aggies' offense has to play better, and that improvement starts with himself, he said following Wednesday's practice. "The biggest thing is we have to execute 11 as one," he said. "I know I haven't been playing well enough and I am trying to improve because it all starts with me. We need to be 11 strong with everyone being on the same page and at the same speed." Keeton said the offensive issues are partially due to new guys learning their roles along the offensive line and in the receiving corp. The Aggies lost starting receiver Brandon Swindall to a season-ending injury against Idaho State. JC transfer Hunter Sharp is expected to start in his place. "We lost an experienced guy in Swindall," Keeton said. "But other guys know it's their time to step up. We haven't played like we know we can on the offensive side of the ball and hopefully we can change that." "Hopefully we are starting to get that strong unity," he added. As for himself, Keeton said he feels "perfectly fine," even though he has favored his surgically repaired leg at times. "It's going to get tired in games but I feel fine as soon as the ball gets snapped," he said. "When the ball is snapped, there is no ACL surgery that comes with it. I don't think about it. I don't care what happens between plays."
