Travis Seefeldt had one of the best hits in Tuesday's scrimmage and the junior defensive lineman was at it again with solid play on Thursday as he was named the Defensive Player of the Day following the Aggies' afternoon practice session.

Utah State coach Matt Wells said the the defense won the morning session and the teams were fairly even in the afternoon sessions by his estimation.

"The offense dominated both two-minute drills out of the gate and then I thought the defense played really well at the end of practice," he said.

Brian Suite, Jontrell Rocquemore and Marwin Evans all nabbed interceptions to keep up the defense's trend of creating turnovers.
