Utah State's Jennifer Schlott's collegiate playing days are over, but that doesn't mean her career is. The guard will get her chance at a pro career with the Indiana Fever as she signed a contract with the WNBA team on Wednesday. Training camp opens on April 27. "It was a surprise," Schlott said Wednesday's deal. "I thought that it might happen, but I didn't think it would happen so soon." As a senior for the Aggies, the guard broke the MWC and Utah State single-season record for points scored with 811. She also set the conference record for single-season scoring, averaging 26.2 points in overall games and 27.2 points in league games. She finished her career with 1,556 points. Her most memorable game might have been against UC Santa Barbara when she set a school record for single-game scoring with 44 points. Schlott also set records for assists in a season (192) and career (436). - Lya Wodraska
