Logan • It took Preston Medlin a half to get warmed up. But once he was there, there was no stopping him.

The Aggies' senior guard scored 14 second-half points and finished with 19 total as the Aggies got a 76-70 victory over visiting Boise State. Medlin finished 8-for-12 on the night shooting.

One of the biggest adjustments Utah State has made recently has been driving more aggressively into the paint, Medlin acknowledged. It was one of the factors that helped him go 3-for-3 from long range as well - shots opened up.

"We always know we need to be aggressive," he said. "We kind of got away from that and settled for outside shots. I feel like we were aggressive, we got into the post, and that's what we want."
