Adding to the Aggies' ever-increasing 2014 recruiting class, Snow College linebacker Sunia Tauteoli has committed to Utah State, his coach confirmed Tuesday.

Popping on the radar as a freshman, Tauteoli earned first-team all-conference honors for the Badgers with 92 tackles, 14.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and a pick. He chose Utah State over offers from Utah and Arizona State.

Scout.com rates Tauteoli as a three-star recruit. He'll have four years to play three seasons at Utah State.

"He's an explosive player," Snow College coach Britt Maughan said. "He makes and creates a lot of big plays. He may start out getting four or five plays a game for Utah State, but they're going to be big plays."

Maughan said he expected Tauteoli, a 6-foot, 225-pound prospect, to be an inside linebacker at Utah State. Citing his speed, Maughan also said he may cover like a safety in select packages.

Tauteoli was not immediately available for comment about his commitment. You can watch his Hudl tape here.

Utah State football is making a strong final push at rounding out its class, adding four commitments in the last three days with the potential for one or two more late additions. East tight end Joe Tukuafu announced his switch to Utah State earlier on Tuesday.
