It's been a long time coming for Jennifer Schlott.

It's not that the senior guard hasn't been a scorer, because she has. It's not that she hasn't been a leader for the team, because she has.

No, Schlott said, Tuesday night was worth savoring because it was her first win over the Utes. That was the real achievement, she said.

"It feels so good - they spanked us last year," she said. "They've actually spanked us every year since I've been here, so it's really nice to get the win."

Perhaps teammate Makenlee Williams summed up Schlott's performance the best.

"That woman — she's a stud," "Sometimes when she gets in the lane, I'm like 'How did she get that shot off?'"
