The Aggies defense was on the ropes for a while against BYU and Boise State, but the last two weeks have shown progress, to say the least.

Utah State smushed New Mexico and Hawaii, shutting them down to only 10 points in each game. The front seven has been a huge part of that, shutting down the run and hitting opposing quarterbacks. Kyler Fackrell was just named Mountain West defender of the week.

Linebacker Jake Doughty, one of the leading tacklers in the nation, took some time to talk about what the Aggies have tightened up on to finish Mountain West play strong.

You'll notice that Doughty starts the video in a fit of laughter. In the first take of the interview, we took some friendly fire, and that's all I'll say. The culprits know who they are.

Anyway, enjoy this very professional video, with some of your favorite Utah State personalities floating in the background.
