Third time's the charm? Tyler Larsen can hope so.

The senior Aggie lineman has been named to the watchlist for the Rimington Trophy, the third time he's appeared on the list alongside the nation's top centers. Larsen, a first team all-WAC player the last two seasons, is one of Utah State's most important returners.

Although he missed spring practice, Larsen is expected to start at center once again this fall, anchoring a line that returns five starters and helped set several school records last year. Larsen was one of Utah State's top-graded linemen last season, and has started 38 straight games going back to his freshman year.

Larsen is not the only Mountain West player on the list: Ben Clarke (Hawai`i), Dillon Farrell (New Mexico), Matt Galas (Nevada), Weston Richburg (Colorado State) and Robert Waterman (UNLV) also were among the honorees.

Other Aggies have popped up on various sites as pundits begin to make preseason predictions. Most notably, quarterback Chuckie Keeton was named to the Heisman Trophy watchlist by CBS Sports.

The Larsen family is having a good week: Tyler's brother, Cody Larsen of Southern Utah, was signed by the Baltimore Ravens on Monday.
