Senior running back Kerwynn Williams was named the Western Athletic Conference offensive player of the week for his 205 yard game against Colorado State.
Sophomore linebacker Zach Vigil was named the WAC defensive player of the week by College Sports Madness.
Vigil, out of Clearfield, had seven tackles and two sacks against the Rams, a 31-19 win on Saturday.
"It's a real honor," Williams said on Monday.
"A lot of credit has to go to my offensive line. They blocked for me all game and gave me holes to run through. They were a big key in my performance."
The yard total for Williams, and the touchdowns, represented a career-high. Vigil ranks second on the Aggies in tackles and first in sacks with three. He's also forced a fumble as the inside linebacker primarily responsible for replacing Bobby Wagner.
Williams also caught two big passes for 22 yards. Both of the catches resulted in important first downs.
