USU Football - Keeton held out as a precaution

Sophomore quarterback Chuckie Keeton sat on Wednesday morning, resting a knee he tweaked in practice on Tuesday. Adam Kennedy, as a result, took all of the snaps with the first team offense, to mixed results.
Kennedy clearly had command of the offense, made the right reads, the right audibles and got people in the right places. On the negative side, he missed wide open targerts, and could've been intercepted on multiple occasions.
Saturday's scrimmage is shaping up as a big one. Assuming Keeton plays, Gary Andersen said his injury isn't serious, the quarterback race could see some separation one way or the other. At least Andersen hopes so.
The Aggies will practice twice tomorrow, in their first two-a-day.
