USU football: Al Lapuaho under the weather
Published on Jun 4, 2012 06:38PM
Al Lapuaho, he rising senior defensive end, will miss the first week of summer conditioning with pneumonia.
Lapuaho got sick on Sunday and was forced to take a trip to the emergency room. Fighting dehydration, and a high fever, Lapuaho has been told by doctors to take it easy for the next few days.
"I should be back, I want to be back quickly," Lapuaho told the Salt Lake Tribune. "I don't feel well right now, but I'm going to get better and I should be back soon."
Lapuaho is a cornerstone on Utah State's defensive line. He will move from tackle to end for this season.
