USU football: Offensive lineman commits to Utah State
Published on Jan 27, 2012 04:44PM
The Aggies beat out Washington State, Indiana, Purdue and East Carolina amongst others for Patrick Ward, a 6-5 285 pound lineman out of Glendale Community College.
Ward is the latest in a slew of linemen to commit to the Aggies. The offensive line was a strength last season, and it looks as if that's shaping up again.
Ward is strong, but also quick and powerful. He's known as a great run blocker who can get out and pull for running backs.
Ward committed to Utah State on Thursday night. He visited the Aggies last weekend.
