USU football: Keeton to suit up, Kennedy still the starter
Published on Nov 18, 2011 07:48PM
Freshman quarterback Chuckie Keeton will suit up against Idaho on Saturday, but Adam Kennedy, who has played so well in Keeton's absence, will continue to be the starter.
Keeton was hurt against Hawaii, and has 11 touchdown passes and just two interceptions. Kennedy, however, has led two comeback wins against the Warriors and last week against San Jose State.
Keeton is not expected to see action, so the job looks like it's all Kennedy's for the time being. It's a testament to how well Kennedy has played that he has been able to retain the job even with Keeton healthy.
