The Preston Medlin you see is a bit different than the Medlin you would see in the off-season.
The sophomore has proven to be one of the best on the team at growing facial hair. Looking at him for two consecutive years at the Taylorsville pro-am would reveal that.
"It's my thing," Medlin said. "I kind of like it."
Alas, Stew Morrill has a policy against facial hair of any kind on his team. So the fro' on the face had to go.
So the question is, whether Medlin and the biblical character Samson have much in common. Of course, Medlin didn't shave his face at the behest of a female, so he probably won't lose his strength and all comparisons will end there.
