Compared to last year the injury situation has been a breeze for the Aggies. Still, USU has some issues as it gets ready for Fresno State this Saturday.

Kerwynn Williams has been slowed by a slightly tweaked ankle, but he has practiced this week. Starting tackle Eric Schultz, who was hurt against Wyoming had surgery on his hand, but is not expected to miss much time, if any.

"Eric is expected to be released to play later this week," Offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin said.

"I believe we're fully healthy and ready to play on defense."

In place of Schultz, Tanner Richins played extremely well against the Cowboys. He's received more reps in practice than normal with the first team, and he's now a married man, as he got hitched on Saturday night following the 63-19 win over Wyoming.

"He's as smart as you can have for a back-up kid," Baldwin said. "He doesn't need a lot of reps because he's so cerebral."
