Sean Harris, a 6-8 forward out of Yuba College in California, has committed to play basketball at Utah State for next season.

Yuba head coach Doug Cornelius confirmed the news to the Tribune on Wednesday afternoon. Harris is described as a skiled power forward with a high motor. He originally committed to play basketballl at Bradley University, but re-opened his recruiting when Jim Les was fired as the head coach.

Harris has been on an LDS mission. According to Corneilus, BYU had shown heavy interest and was planning on making a trip to meet with him next week. The Cougars, Corneilus said, hadn't officially offered Harris.

Harris will step onto a USU team next season where playing time will be available. Brady Jardine, the projected power forward this year, will have graduated, opening up a spot in the rotation.
